spent a weekend in Macon with my honey and his folks, their lake produces the BEST sunsets! // Ryan’s new Cole Haan brogues and fun socks, this guy has impeccable taste!

Tater finds pleasure in the little things in life and as do i! like this cat postcard I got from Mint Gallery’s Pin-Up Show!

one of my favorite spots in my bedroom has a quartz “crystal ball” I was given as a birthday gift and wasp nest I found on the ground // druzy moon necklace designer Coralia Leets gave to me during the Atlanta Gift Show, I am STILL stoked about this!

did some early Spring cleaning and cleaned up my desk area and sold TONS of clothes to Buffalo Exchange-goooo me!

“outfit of the day” a few weeks back-vintage sweater, Citizen jeans, Kate Spade purse, Therapy boots // Turkish rings I picked up during a sample sale at the January Apparel Show.

beeeeautiful chandelier at the Tabernacle that we sat “next” to during The XX show // 2-0-1-3 balloons from NYE’s Soiree in the Stars which are STILL sorta floating.

details from an outfit: Kensie sweater, Bar III button down & Miss B showroom necklace // over Christmas Ryan surprised me with tickets to The XX show (!!!) we sat in the balcony which was a great decision since the music is so romantic and also because they had really large visuals which we were able to see in their entirety.

“outfit of the day” a few Fridays ago: BB Dakota jacket, H&M maxi, UO sunnies, Dansko mary janes // new art I picked up from Young Blood Gallery, meow!

annoyed with all the rain, but I do have a cute umbrella! // wore a casual outfit while I took photos of the Creative Loot folks out and about the Beltline and Paris on Ponce.

I have scored a very sweet guy. he gave me these flowers for no reason and also bought me this lil fox brooch off Etsy for…..NO REASON!

as mentioned in an earlier post i had the pleasure of teaming up with 7 other Atlanta Style Bloggers for the W ThinksPINK Cure on the Catwalk event on Sept 27th. We were each paired with a breast cancer survivor and given a specific boutique in Buckhead to “shop” for our model’s look. unfortunately my model couldn’t make it and poor Ebony of Fashionista Next Door couldn’t attend so i was paired up with her model and visa versa. they had picked out two looks and i got to choose the final outfit so in a way i was able to “style” a runway look :) here’s the press photos by Sara Hanna Photography and a few i snapped during the event.

KITTY KITTY

this weekend was pretty laid back with a last minute potluck held at my house and a trip to Madison, GA to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and eat true country food. before skipping town i grabbed some brunch and beermosa’s at Midway pub and wore more ivory and blush-two colors i’ve really grown to love to incorporate in my wardrobe. encountered a furry friend that posed for the glam cam!

outfit: top H&M, bottoms Hotkiss, kicks Frye, bag Kate Spade

remember the brand Hot Kiss? i do! wore it back in the day and while shopping at TJ MAXX in Cocoa Beach, FL back in August found these light washed floral skinnies. even though i’m not a huge fan of lowrise jeans anymore i had to have these (esp at $19.99!).

gotta love a deal and a throw back to high school!

CURE ON THE CATWALK

tonight i’ll be strutting the catwalk at the W Atlanta Hotel in Buckhead with breast cancer survivors alongside fellow Atlanta Style Bloggers. i had the pleasure of meeting and styling Lara at the Fab’rik in Buckhead and you can bet we had fun playing dressup! she trusted my “styling advice” and went with a dress she said she “would have never thought to even try on!” which ended up looking FABULOUS! though a last minute dilemma came up and she isn’t able to attend tonight’s event i know that our styling session meant a lot to both of us.
