Lotta Lofts

1
September 25th & 26th was Castleberry Hill‘s annual loft walk, Sunday I volunteered and was given a sweet neighborhood tee and a commemorative 80’s replica water bottle, as well as other snacks and swag, AND a free pass to see all the lofts.
Come with me through the tour from start to finish/ / / / /
2
loft #1 was hidden above an old warehouse behind Peters St. and you could def tell the home owner was talented in many ways.

4
loft #2
different art gallery underneath this next loft:
5
walking up the stairs you can see the old fashioned elevator thing-a-mah-bob to the right, fantastic ceiling architecture, party ball and then when you think it couldn’t get any cooler, BAM
6
part of a freakin airplane! the overhead compartments still work and all! ! !
7
One of the b/e/s/t/ dining rooms around. Check out his collection of vintage Aunt Jemima dolls. oh my, and all the cookie jars! these are my dream cabinets.
8
long view of his living room.
9
he has such a large space, not even including the two art galleries he owns below. jealous yet? if not, check out his ROOF TOP TERRACE. . . . .
10
this is only 1/2, didn’t get a pic of the other side.
11
LOVE LOVE LOVE the doors coming into his place up the stairs leading from main art gallery. his kitchen was to the left coming in, every bit as fabulous.
12
loft #3
this hip pad is on Fair and Peters
13
eeek! love the moon chair!
14
leading down to her mini bar/bedroom/walk-in closet/office-heaven.
15
workspace. fancyspace.
16
wine boy informed me that the owner used to be one of the VP’s of Claire’s Accessories and has traveled all over since, living in Paris for around 3 years-obviously collecting fabulous gear.
18
her gear.

23
their living room wall pulls up, how innovative!
24
the artwork was the best here. three levels and a terrace all jam packed with color.
25
this was his third “floor” which was extremely tiny, from all angles, and let out to an amazing view (on his roof top party spot) of the entire city.
26
unique art gallery at loft #5, the loft I was not in love with, but I really enjoyed these screen-prints.
27
chandelier at loft #6
ultra pretty!
as for the rest//loft#7 was closed that day & loft #8 just didn’t compare.  I thought there was going to be more than 8 but after taking the tour realized that even hustling through it still it took me about 1.5 hours. Between talking to folks, sipping on wine, peeking behind all the corners, and walking up and down the hills-it was quite exhausting. Such a fabulous experience, and inspiration!
