While browsing through my photo library I realized I never posted the few pictures I took of the items purchased from Kentuck (the annual art festival).*****
I’ve got 1/2 the world, on my head.
The artist behind this wacky folk art is Robert “Frito” Seven,
who I actually met at a music festi in NC a couple of summers ago.
He is a really kind guy based out of Ashville, NC and a very talented artist.

This lovely screen print was made by a fellow named Amos out of Gordo, Alabama.
He is very skilled and extremely blunt, hehe.
Last year I bought two prints and gave one to a friend for Christmas, this year I bought two and kept them both (other print not pictured).
I really enjoy his work a lot, and it’s very reasonably priced.

The other really fun deal with Amos is that he lets everyone who buys a print actually screen print a bag of their own with his enormous machine he brings along. I thought this years bag was perfect, and completely describes my feelings towards politics.
This year, due MOSTLY to complications, I am not voting. kind of a bummer, but really I just don’t care for either.

I have zero recollection of their artist who created these cards but aren’t they grand!? There must be 10 or so different mediums used in each card and pressed together to create a beauty. Don’t know when I’ll every use them seeing as how I usually hold on to objects like these for a while before letting them go.

Hope everyone’s Tuesday is superb!
