my my my! what an absence! I’ve been craving the blog world so badly and wanting to catch up with everything like {The Office} Christmas Dinner/Party
&& New Years Eve from last month…
the new job-Force Marketing-hosted a badASS party for the holidays over at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Buckhead. after a four-course meal, open bar, and hilarious video of everyone (including me!) from the office made by the film department..we headed to the W for an after party that was celebrity worthy (…did have Nick Green-of the Boston Red Socks as well as an ex-Playboy Bunny in tow-HA!) && drank Grey Goose-on the house-while dancing the night away in super uncomfortable heels. it was FREAKIN awesome, totally wish I could play that night over and over. and completely free!
we both recycled dresses from previous years-mine a handmade vintage piece I found on Ebay a year or two ago. Ashliegh’s came from Urban Outfitters.
the delicious menu-we passed around the dishes “family style” and all shared.

Ashleigh, an old friend and college roommate, actually got me the job at Force-handing my resume over to the right chick and 4 days later I had a job. She just got a promotion and is an Account Exec for the Events team. I am working under the Production Coordinator (also named Jessica) as her personal assistant, helping with all the direct mail orders from printing/proofing/mailing/shipping/ETC…
pretty good gig :)
NeW YeaRs!
beginning of December, Dusty surprised me with tickets to The Black Lips NYE show at The Earl in E.A.V. I immediately thought ‘what am I going to wear?’ && a couple days later found a metallic dress via H&M that was purrrrrrfect! then it was on to the headgear, a crown? a hat? feathers? set off to Little Five Points to hit up Junk Mans Daughter, only to find a closed shop-night of since I like to wait till the last sec-and so I reverted to Psycho Sisters down the block. After much plundering found a hair piece/mini hat that was purrrrrrfect. it had tulle, sequins, feathers, and a vintage touch! fits perfectly on the crown and is easily secured with just one bobbypin.
these pabst blue ribbon balloons were so fun! after the place filled up and the show was going down the crowd was having a ball throwing and kicking them around!!
took the vintage rabbit fur coat out for a spin for its first outing. must say it’s extremely comfortable with silk lining and perfect mobility plus UBER warm-might just have to use it more often (although I feel a little silly in it…)
took some footage of the craziness, check out all the booze flying in the air!
ringing in the new year was a blast!!
looking forward to all the adventures/projects/memories to come,
ps//thanks for bearing with the slacking posts-will be up2date soon!
