Just got home from work + running errands and about to start getting ready for The Black Lips show/NYE Bash over in East Atlanta Village. I have been wanting to post ALL week but literally just now have time, so sad, but I’m stoked to be sharing all this fabulous gear from Barneys CoOp holiday lookbook (picked up at Phipps plaza where I just discovered the branch-and am SO FREAKIN HAPPY-though I cannot afford much, a girl can always look!) Anyways I’ve got to keep this short due to the time crunch we’re on, seeing as how we are going to pre-party at a friends house….but yea…check this shiz out…

are these not the most gorgeous earrings you’ve ever laid  your eyes on?!?! the craftsmanship is impeccable!

this bag weighs a TON, I know this because I held it in the store (wishing, hoping, praying….that one day….yea, probably never…) so awesome though!

in high school I stretched my earlobes and the first set of earrings I had were these tapers that looked just like the tusk-like numbers on the left….these are much much more classy…also dig the wooded righties 

this is a bag one could use everyday, with every outfit. love love love!

 

these talon earrings are especially awesome, they are a little native with girly touches which I can always appreciate. look closely at the price && get a good laugh :)

I’m out to start curling my hair (which is probably pointless since the weather is super shitty) but hey-doesn’t every girl want to get glammed up & sparkly to ring in the New Year??

this year, due to several reasons we opted for a fake tree and for several other reasons (destructive cat, Target sales..) went for a 3-footer. the only issue I have with the little booger is the ornaments from last year are a little to large, but i found some minis at Ikea which filled in the extra space.

excited to show off some of our most recent (home) purchases-red shelf from a garage sale in the hood $10.00 new (but a little damaged on back, which doesn’t matter) from Ikea, white chairs from Ikea, and black shelf on wall from Home Depot. So now our place is officially “done”!!!

last year’s stockings made from vintage fabric, old sweater,  vintage skirt, hobby lobby ribbons & lace, with some vintage pom poms. 

Friday the new work place had their Christmas party at a swanky italian restaurant in Buckhead with a delicious 4 course meal and open bar. afterwards we danced till the morning at the W like VIPS, it was nuts!! if only we could party like that all the time!! 

my O my have i been crazy busy! the new work place involves a commute of 45-50 min and is from 9-6 making chill time at home pretty limited-especially if i’ve got to take care of anything afterward (ie. finding holiday dress via H&M, working out..etc..) so it may end up that the blog suffers at first, but i promise i’ll get into ‘the swing of things’ and work in enough time to post-have lots to share (+ more scans!!) 

hope everyone is  having a good week so far; listening to Christmas carols (on repeat), gift shopping (last minute), eating sweets (tummy ache) and keeping up those holiday spirits!!

this weekend i’ll be spending my time in dothan, alabama for dustys brother’s wedding. nothing to crazy and then it’s back to atlanta where i’ll be starting a new job on Monday as the Production Assistant at Force Marketing. pretty excited and nervous at the same time, but i’m ready to excell and open new doors!

anywho.

started this post yesterday && actually put some quality time into the content. went through 111 pages of The Fashion Spot’s “model streetstyle” forum days ago and saved around 60 photos, then narrowed them down to these and i plan on doing another post of others. most of them are actual street photos but some are backstage (or after a show) which is part of their lifestyle, no doubt, and i thought those were pretty cool as well to include.

these should give you something to look/gawk at for now
