After a packed out weekend I’m finally getting to posting about one of the adventures Dustin and I had downtown. Through a Scoutmob “Handpicked” deal we went on a ferris wheel ride, had an app, dinner and dessert at Park Bar all for $49.00! I’d link the deal but I just checked and it’s sold out, sorry but be sure to sign up for their emails, so many goodies! Ever since Skyview Ferris Wheel made it’s debut in ATL we’ve wanted to go and it never happened so I planned it into one of our date nights. It was neat to see the city from a birds-eye-view! Whether you’ve lived here forever or visiting, it’s a must do!
Our deal included the “banana boat” app at Park Bar which is fried plantains, pimento cheese with BACON! Oh my goodness these were so tasty!
I had to use my Iphone for all these photos because I left my camera battery at home. I’ve done this a couple times lately, you’d think I’d learn to check. That type of forgetfulness is relatively new, hope it’s doesn’t stick around! Thank goodness for the incredible technology we have, I hate missing cute moments!
Seeing the city in the day time was cool but we both thought going again when it’s Christmas time and everything is lit up-especially since Centennial Olympic Park goes all out with the decorations-would be real pretty and romantic!
Aside from this adventure, we went to two cookouts, wound up at MJQ for Noot D’ Noot’s last show (EVER!) and I shot a studio visit that I’ll share more about when a certain website my roommate and I have created launches this week-STAY TUNED!
What I’m wearing: Gap shirt, Free People hat and jeans, UO shoes, Jcrew Bag and TOMS sunglasses.
