similar interests

much like hair stylists, DJs, artists and musicians we photographers usually hang in the same environments so it’s no mystery as to how i have several pals that are into the same extracurricular activity as myself.
working my several jobs, being crafty at the art studio, getting in random pool time and hitting up the Atlanta party scene has been the gist of my July. though i haven’t gotten in a “real vacation” [YET] i have had many lil “get-away” weekends right here in my city-
and i’ve had friends around to capture some of the best times this month, via their similar interest,
photography.

THE GARM FARM —> once specializing in cotton-related machinery and later producing ammunition and mortars during World War II, now is a creative center for visual and performing arts including residential and commercial spaces. it truly is an inspiring place to escape to!

FLASHBACK: The Infamous 5-Hour Brunch

many moons ago…Ashleigh, Kris and I visited Park’s Edge in Inman Park for what we THOUGHT was just a normal Sunday brunch gathering….
but what we didn’t know is that it would turn into the world’s LONGEST BRUNCH EVER!
cue BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAs.

originally it included a guy friend but we scared him off with lady talk and drunken laughter so it wound up just being us girls who later had an impromptu photoshoot on the walk home:

i love my girl friends!
(and if we ever form a band, photo #2 will be our album cover!)
My Look: vintage dress, tights, shades, and Steve Madden boots.
Kris’ Look: vintage top, necklace, boots and H&M shorts.
Ash’s Look: H&M blazer, UO romper, Clothing Warehouse shades.
it’s nearly the end of the week, which for some it means weekend chill time…not for all of us…
so enjoy your weekend for me-i’ll be working my bum off-though Sunday is nightlife photo taking so that doesn’t really count *wink!*
come see me on Sunday night for Noni’s Christmas party!

speaking of vacations for the past week i’ve been in Cocoa Beach, FL which is to blame for the hiatus of posts since i’ve been on a beach or boat since. back on dry land and heading to Atlanta tonight, sadly, but wishing i could spend a few more days at the beach with my folks-
back to reality!
