whether you’re into local or international, Atlanta has a farmers market for everyone. if you’re from around here chances are you’ve probably hit up Your Dekalb Farmers Market in Decatur which is a HUGE international market that has everything from live fish to yummy foreign beer to brand name organic goods. I like visiting both the permanent one AND the little seasonal pop up markets that are hosted in various neighborhoods. two of my favorites are the Grant Park and East Atlanta Village Farmers Market. I’ve discovered new produce, met and made friends, sampled local cheeses and taken home delicious produce. last Thursday and Sunday I snapped some pics at both spots
the chef herself, Brittany Grace, behind Grace’s Goodness which provides honest, clean (and yummy!) goods like her spinach & green garlic soup. Brittany is sweet, fashionable and great at cooking and can be found at BOTH markets!
Leila of Native Bear sporting a woven purse perfect for carrying home a few bundles of goodies!
local shrooms!
bought a bag for myself and with a gal pal cooked’em up in white wine and served over rotisserie chicken, NOM NOM NOM!
thanks to the farmers and attendees who stopped for snaps and stuff!
