Before they move from the Westside to Edgewood I stopped in to the Chrome Yellow Trading Co. // Brick + Mortar popup shop. It’s one location shared by two companies- Chrome Yellow is the clothing, accessories, housewares and gifts part of the store and the decor is contributed by Brick + Mortar. The new location off Edgewood will have a coffee shop built in-a perfect combo of all the things I (and likely you) love!
Some of my favorite pieces from the Brick + Mortar collection were the taxidermy animals, like the above bull and the bear head in the last photo. Got a thing for stuffed dead animals and bones. I’m not at all creeped out by them, which is likely because I used to hunt with my dad back in middle and junior high school. I’m glad that it’s become a trend, but I’m sure the animals aren’t as stoked (ps: sorry not sorry Peta!)

First spotted these pendants on the Chrome Yellow Instagram and knew I must get one, decided on the navy color. It currently resides in our bedroom.
The brands of clothing and accessories are on point with labels like Ace + Jig, Boutonne, Rogue Territory, Alternative Apparel- just to name a few..
The two companies combined bring Atlanta a shop that is both unique and practical. A place you can stop in and get a gift or piece for your home and wardrobe, and soon to be added to the list: caffeine!
