pretty excited to share these images with you all as my holiday weekend was fabulous, starting with a backyard carnival right here in the city!! dodekapus, who puts on several other parties i attend, threw a wacky carnival themed bash over @@ the Big House on Ponce. there were multiple bands, games, artists, face paint, a trampoline && moon bounce, live screen printing, and lots of other festivities all benefiting the Living Walls charity-who’s cause is supporting and protecting street art. what a night! check it out:

mom bought me this Kenzie dress for my bday and as usual i hoarded till the right occasion came about..and with the little train in the back and fun colors this seemed Oh-So-Carnival appropriate! was going to pair it with my vintage bejeweled white boots but thought all the white might be over-kill so i went with the trusty red booties. the sleeves are pretty interesting too, there are straps you can wear OR you can have both the sleeve && the strap up ORRR neither. kinda really love this outfit :))

ashleigh got hooked up with the face-paint, then i threw on the jewel and smashed some glitter on her forehead..♥♥♥

post-carnival i walked over on saturday morn to the Highland Row Antique store for their holiday sale ((20% off everything storewide!)) and picked up a couple of goodies. one of which was this super cute vintage suitcase ((which now makes my collection 4 strong!)) and, of course, i used it to travel home with. didn’t need many items since it was a chill weekend at the lake house so it worked out perfectly. it’s in great condition and def my new fav sidekick!

this little frog seemed innocent enough, so i got reaaaal close to snap a photo and BAM…damn thing blew up…so this is me running like hell…haha!!

since they don’t sell fireworks here in Georgia i brought back a nice little stash and we’re going to have another 4th-yippy! also brought back all the fish i caught in FL, a fish fry is in the near future ((another yippy!))

well here it is, the weekend AGAIN. my favorite!! went to Hot && Sticky last night @@ East Side Lounge where a friend was DJing and everyone boogied. been pretty exhausted all day but as alwayzz-ready for mooooooooore

here in atlanta there are tons of monthly parties//events and i tend to hit up every.single.one. HEAVY being one of my favorites which is a DUBstep throw down at the Graveyard Tavern in EAV. this last weekend was it’s 3rd go-around and it’s only getting BIGGER &&& BETTER..here is #2 && #3, took photos at #1 but nothing that impressive..

really enjoyed this outfit, mostly cause of the red booties, they rule! annnd i did my hair in this funky little side braid and curled the rest, prob see it on the reg for sure..

i wore my [tough] jewelry out, including these vintage slingin’ pistol earrings and ((below)) my vintage chain bracelet with silver knuckle ring-via Urban

def work up a sweat at HEAVY but they spray us all down in champagne which is cooling BUT it’s a sticky situation nonetheless!

last weekend was really great, went to this event and also hit up a couple other fun spots that i will be sharing soon. tonight is this nutty carnival themed party that i will prob fill up my entire memory card shooting, love this city!

again, this is why the new name works out SO MUCH BETTER. constantly flashing back to old[er] memories..oh wells..ashleigh and i went to OPERA night club to catch Steve Aoki break it out! one of the best nights EVER! i took a bunch of photos, as usual, none of them turned out that great so here are some from the professionals..

it’s that time of the month again for LASERBEAMKITTY!!! tonight is extra special as it’s Sonen’s EP release, so in honor i’m posting the pictures from last month’s LASERevent!!

at the time i thought i was still moving to SD so i was especially sentimental, but i just couldn’t leave my favorite night of the month behind!

nor my friends, this is Jamey, we were BESTbuds from the beginning of college and then lost touch rekindling towards the end and now living in Atlanta we’ve again reunited. love you man!

um, so this is about the GREATEST THING EV-bubbles and lasers-YES PLEASE! i have since tracked down a comparable machine but it isn’t nearly as badass as this one!

the drunk me wanted to walk away with it safely tucked in my bag BUT the kind-hearted me knew that if it happened to ME i’d be pretty bummed. so i just played with and said goodbye.

a funny moment this night was when this [really cute!] guy complimented me on the romper but he called it a dress so when i corrected and said “look, it’s a onesie!” he congratulated me and was very impressed! i got a kick out of the congrats, but really this was a thrift find ((worn on the blog before)) and i gave myself a little pat on the back when i discovered-def one of my fav pieces in the wardrobe!

well, i suppose im going to start on the long road to getting ready for tonight’s boogie down….aside from LaserBEAMkitty i’m also going to another EPIC party so tonight’s costume is going to have to rule.
