See I think I’m really unlucky (my last trip to a casino, via St. Louis, I lost $35.00 in minutes//on .25-.50 machines) so for this to happen put the biggest smile on my face! It’s going over my swimsuit while hanging around the lake-no doubt!
Here’s a couple photos found on my camera from a weekend or two ago after a night at Rockies. You could never guess what has me giggling so much, nor will I tell, but I will say my boyfriend makes me smile real hard sometimes.

Kinda have some fabulous news to share with you all about the yard sale I had YESTERDAY and THIS morning, both starting around 7:00am. BUT I really want to add the photos and tell the story behind the successful sales Kristie Jo, Teresa, Caty Ann, & myself had when we finally decided to let go of some things. mostly my crap, but they had some goodies too. Of course we each traded with one another, bought and sold-ending up with new little treasures! Seeing as how I’m utterly pooped from a long day of baking in the sun & wheelin-n-dealin I will say:

don’t worry this won’t be a weekly occurance (Mischa Monday, that is) but I’ve had these photos on my desktop for over a week and had to share them with everyone. One reason is because of her style and how it’s ever changing, she wears exactly what she feels like wearing and doesn’t so much follow trends-rather creates them. Also the fact that if I had designers wishing to dress me from head to toe I would dress exactly like her..she mixes vintage with nearly all her outfits and her twists on ‘the norm’ are always fantastic!

Speaking of, I am kinda upset about this line, called H&M here at Atlantic Station and they had already shipped all the women’s clothing to NYC, and there was a little bit of the men’s still remaining. total bummer.

Hope everyone’s week and new month is starting off right!! Mine sure is!! Arrived home from the beach yesterday to a new friend, a ten week old bob tail grey kitten with long fur. eeeE! Haven’t stopped playing with him since!! His family was dropped off somewhere and picked up by the human society here in ATL and only had a couple of days before “no longer being available.” Dusty jumped on the opportunity and brought home the little guy a couple of days ago sort :) of surprising me when I got home.  He’s a whiny little man but also a whole lot of entertainment-the hardwood floors make it difficult for his furry paws to stay grounded, too funny! 
Don’t know about the state or country your in but here it’s HOT, a whopping 90 degrees today with a medium smog alert-yikes! I will be spending most of the day inside applying for jobs &&& organizing more crap I brought and unloaded from the car that must be crammed somewhere. it’s going to be a grand day…but listening to Jamiroquai ALL DAY will help everything be more pleasant.

Gulf Shores, Alabama

The past couple of days have included time spent with Emma, Trish, Lily, and Grits with blue skies, white sand, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and layers of SPF on the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama.  We have cooked many fantastic meals one of my favorites being the sauteed shrimp (bought at a local stand, and de-pooped and veined by all us ladies) in oil & chunks of garlic over a bed of noodles with a cream-marinara sauce. MmmMM..  Yesterday Emma brought me breakfast in bed, an everything bagel with cheese & spinach and a slice of pepperjack cheese all toasted to yummy goodness! Needless to say we have been eating very good considering we haven’t eaten in one local restaurant, saving that cash money is easy to do when you have great cooks in the house.  I haven’t my camera with me, *SIGH,* but we have been taking some photos that I’ll share later, as for now I leave you with some fun pics courtesy of Flickr from the 1960s.

Lily (Trish’s little girl) is a soon to be five yr. old with a wild personality thats had us all over the place playing in sand, swimming in the pool at all hours, and watching all the Sponge Bob Square Pants I can possible handle.

Today I will be sporting my handed down unicorn t-shirt since my back is burned worse than ever before, such a shame too, I layered sunscreen on all day but MUST have forgot the upper back. sucks but taking refuge under the umbrella isn’t all that bad…

Death Proof

Today I awoke to fresh waffles (thanks Mommah!) out at my parental’s house on lake Tuscaloosa after spending the night with the fam continuing the celebration of Buck’s (my middle brother) graduation from WashU.  We hung around the lake sipping on beers while my pops and Buck played a game of redneck golf, a gift I gave the boys for Christmas, enjoying the company of having just the five of us at the homestead.  My family met Grits for the first time, including the cats Murf and Cliff, (my two cats who have now turned into lake kitties) which went pretty well other than a small ambush courtesy of Murf.

After a good start my day went south thanks to Verizon and Comcast Cable. Not that I’m going to complain (on blog) about the highway robbery of these two services but I will say they have ruined more than one day of my life. I chilled out with some cold Amstel Lights, cranked up tunes, and packed the last bits of the shit remaining in my house…hopefully the tedious task of moving 3.5 hours away will soon be over and I can get to the fun part, decorating! 

 Lately I’ve been looking like a bum (that means no outfit post, no way!) but I guess that’s what squatting in a house with nothing but a rocking chair, old ass food, single mattress (on floor), and boxed up baggage will do to ya. running up and down and up and down the stairs also helps out. but At LEAST I am still intercepting internet from next door, I was able to watch Grind House: Death Proof via Netflix instant play and was really impressed! The cast was a group of awesome ladies (including Rosario Dawson, Vanessa Ferlito, Jordan Ladd, Rose McGowan) with fun style as well as Kurt Russel as Stuntman Mike. I don’t want to say too much other than I would recommend it, little gory in some parts but not as bad as most Q.T. films.
