CUBA | VARADERO

Our Christmas was very low key. We had gotten all of our celebrating out of the way the week before so the day of, we were basically just chilling wanting it to hurry up and be over so we could jet off to Cuba to explore and ring in the New Years with our buddies Blake and Sara– fellow photography lovers and travel enthusiasts.  We’ve known them for a few years now but hadn’t traveled together until connecting on the urge to visit Cuba and booking back in June. Political turmoil and suspected threats on our diplomats had us on the edge of our seats whether we’d be able to go or not, but, we can say we’ve been to Cuba and back and lived to tell about it! Kidding, mostly.  There were a few dodgy moments, but we had a blast and the colorful island is truly one-of-a-kind and luckily it turns out, Blake and Sara are a traveling dream team.

Follow the classic car while I take you through our travels around Varadero, a resort town in the province of Matanzas, Cuba.

FRANCE TRIP | GIVERNY + MONET

Yall! I’m doing it, I’m finally wrapping up our April Europe trip with this post! Without even trying, because it’s been in chronological order, I’ve saved the best for last :)

We really can’t brag enough about Fat Tire tour company! We love them and trusted them with a big percentage of our Spain and France trips.  This tour was also through them and was definitely a highlight for me.  It was a full day trip, 8.5 hours to be exact. We started with meeting at the storefront and packing up in a bus heading to Normandy, specifically a village called Vernon. When we arrived we walked to a mini storage that was so old and rustic it made America’s public storage facilities look like something out of 2089.  From there we saddled up our bikes and hit up the Market of Vernon.

Not only were these strawberries seriously the best I’ve ever had, literally melting in your mouth, they smelled so fragrant too!

FRANCE TRIP | CHAMPAGNE TOURS

One of the activities we both definitely wanted to do while in France was go to Champagne country. We figured the easiest route was going through a tour company so we booked a day tour out to G.H. Mumm and Mercier through our go-to Fat Tire Tours.  Champagne drinker or not, the trek out there and tour is worth it for all~ beautiful small towns, authentic French cuisine (paired with local champagne of course) and lots of history.

WEAR 20

Hi blog world, I’ve missed you! Well, sort of. It’s been real chill not panicking about posts and just coasting through the ease of IG life.  So much easier to post on the go and I’ve really been loving the stories aspect, especially when I leave town or stay in town but have a fun ass day. Like Sunday when we ice skated in the skies of Atlanta! Yep, in November. We had a freaking blast, thanks to Phase 3 who invited us to preview the rink before it opened to the public on Monday. And like any “good” blogger I totally dressed like a fool. A fashionable fool that is.  We’re talking didn’t bring socks or gloves or enough clothes in general but hey, I looked real kewl (definitely calls for a K..)

Ponce City Market | ATL, GA

Here’s what I wore to the rink and an IG story recap of our fun!
