Little embarrassing but everything is Madewell besides my shoes, which are Converse. Well and the glasses. So that’s not thaaat bad! (sorry not sorry..)
It’s hard to pick a favorite day on such an amazing trip but if I have to choose for the sake of this blog post, I’d choose the day we went on a 7 hour bike ride around Barcelona. It was one for the books!
Through a company called WeBarcelona we took a full day tour on bikes seeing Barcelona from land, air and sea!
Not 20 minutes into the ride we came upon a cactus garden. I freaked! Cactus are my favorite so a full garden of them in a beautiful city was such a nice surprise to find! I ran around snapping photos until I was told (multiple times, oops) it was time to continue riding.
Stick to the path or get stuck!
Totally framing this one!
And this one!
Some birds had their way with these guys but they’re still cute~
Lookout view from riding up to get to cable car
Looking out from the cable car, that harbor is legit!
Parc de la Ciutadella
Stadium of the 1992 Olympics
Riding along the water
We boarded a ferry and went out on the water to see the city from the sea. We got bottles of cava and enjoyed resting our feet That tall building is newish and was frowned upon because to some people it looks “phallic” according to our guide, Mark, hahah!
The crew!
Our tour included a stop at Sagrada Familia. This place is just as magical as Gaudi dreamt it would be!
I mean, wow.
The construction started March 19, 1882 and is projected to be complete in 2026-2028! So insane it’s taking this long but with all those details I suppose it’s no wonder…
After a long bike ride all over Barcelona (ok we did have some electric assist on the bikes…) we devoured some delish gelato!
Such a fun day! Very thankful for this trip. Coming up next is a Spanish food post + our last day in Barcelona cruising around solo.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out my post <3
