I sure do miss my Mr. Blue Eyes.

New Places, New Faces.

[recently]  I have moved into a new place, in the same town of Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  I think I owe it to my last place to feature a few pictures I took right before packing up and settling elsewhere.

Here is the outside 1/2 porch I had goin on.

Crash and Burn.

Due to the events of last Tuesday, I may be M.I.A. for a bit with very few new pictures and postings. My Apple MacBook decided to destroy itself and is currently being erased and receiving a new hard drive. Hopefully I will get it back sometime this week or maybe early next week. I will try and post from work but all my cool pictures are now stuck on an external hard drive, that I had to purchase, and I totally recommend backing up everything you do.

Have a wonderful week in case you fellow bloggers don’t here from my for a minute. Promise I won’t stay mum for too long!

Blazin.

I have made it back alive from dancing in the deserts of California for three days straight.  Had a lot of fun and heard a lot of good music, Rilo Kiley was awesome as expected and Prince rocked out hard as also expected.

Here are some photographs taken in the mayhem of scorching temperatures, techno, and five stages.

Night one, we definitely did not wear appropriate desert night gear and froze, but with  smiles on our faces.

Day two, the temperature reached 102 and shades were a must.

Jenny Lewis ruled! Started at 7:20 and played through nightfall, I was able to get real close and loved every second.

Rilo Kiley played all the right songs.

Met some girlies at the campsite and caught a couple shows with them inside.
(Katheryn and Mandy)

Banged on some drums, making sounds that echoed in the mountains.
It was a really good time, I loved all the music and enjoyed the company of all the Californians.  Going to hit up a couple more festivals this summer and get it out of my system before I have to “grow up.”
In latest news-this week is f.i.n.a.l.s.-and it’s going to be extreme because everything is on one day.  Wish Me Luck.

Boogie till the Break of Dawn.

Tomorrow I leave for Coachella in California,
talked about it for a while now and here it is.
I am r.e.a.d.y.
to…. dance in the California sun,
to……. play in the California grass,
no pun was intended.
I have been to many festivals but never on the West Coast so this should be interesting.
hoping it will be something along the lines of ::
(circa 1967)
or of that nature.

who knows what lies ahead the next couple dazeee.
