Last night was too rad not to go ahead with a post, fast forwarding>> other pictures and stories, but whatev. It started off grilling out with another couple, then Ash and I headed to Apache Cafe for my buddy’s event, leaving the men to the party upstairs that involved Hennessy, tunes, and Pictionary ((needless to say we found them in rare form later that evening)) Colt, with whom I work with, is part of Speak Easy, a production group, who put on the event-he also was part of the live grafitti going on outdoors. My friend Kevin ended up also being there playing bass with The Nice Guise /feat/Newberry Jam, which was a group of guys playing everything from percussion drums, keyboard, sax, trumpet with two white dudes rapping like crazy! stellar time for sure!

normally I’d just wait to picture till they were worn with an outfit but not in this case, the details are important and so is the DEAL-both for under $80!! can’t wait for the rain to clear to be able to wear them out and about!
**a couple posts ago I mentioned a painting project that was underway in which we changed the existing accent wall from a pale bizarre purple to a sunflower yellow ((MUSTARD)) color. totally love it, have a couple more projects before full pics are shown but just wanted to make a note. also the vintage pink “boomerang” diner table is a new addition that I’m still searching for the perfect chairs to place around. . can’t wait to show the dining room/wet bar photos upon completion!

if you can’t tell,  a couple of the things that make me happy are ((nouns)) that were incorporated in this past weekend’s Bachelorette party in Nashville. Friday I managed to get there by 10pm their time and 11 mine, the drive was through beautiful mountains with a tropical-like sunset so it was pleasant despite being a.l.o.n.e. I had also made a bangin mixed tape for the ride, which was the only music until Chat. and Nash. so I listened to that on r.e.p.e.a.t. When I arrived the ladies had FOOD, gift bags, cold beer, and s.o. much more! it was awesome!! We partied inside the two hotel rooms we had combined via connecting door-easy way to make a suite-and had a blast. ((Saturday)) The beer fest RULED. We ended up getting extremely hammered, the sun partially to blame +++ the heady beer which was also a culprit.  afterwards we crashed for several hours ((3 too many!!)) until getting up, minus the bride-to-be who had unintentionally got too sick, and found out about a hip dance party. We took a cab out at freakin 1:30am!! and was not even prepared for the party that was ahead of us. there was fun remixes, original shit, and dub mixes.AND LAZERS!!! way cool. pictures to come! I’m headed via bike to hang with Adrienne and catch up with her weekend. Thanks so much kind ladies!!!

I’m about to set sail to Nashville, TN for my first bachelorette party for my gal pal Susan who is getting married next month!! It’s going to be crazy! Tonight We are having a dinner party in the hotel, lingerie shower, and other festivities and tomorrow going to the Music City Micro Brewers fest, hanging around pool, exploring, and God knows what else . . . Today on my lunch break I stopped at a porn shop down the street for some gag gifts and felt totally awkward. ha. but I hope you all have a fantastic weekend and I’m sure I’ll be bring home many stories, got to pack/shower/switch out vehicles/drive 4 damn hours GO GO GO! !

as many have noticed I’m a pretty relaxed kind of gal. on one hand I love vintage dresses, tights and the frilliest things around but on the other I am pretty laid back. My True Religion skinnies have made numerous appearances lately and simply pairing them with a couple vintage pieces seem to do the trick. especially if you skip out on shaving for a couple days and don’t wish to let the entire world know. . .but let’s keep that between us.
