i suppose you could call the Clermont Lounge a ‘hidden jewel’
dress//Calvin Klein, belt, boots, purse//vintage
more of Natalie’s place, the cat mobile is adorable. . and the A. Wang scarf *in black* is something i’ve coveted for a long time. .
i can tell by her jewelry collection, as well as the other photos on The Selby, we could totally be friends. . too bad she resides in Australia. .
another page from the most current Nylon, which by the way has Sienna on the cover, lovin this hat, reminds me of Stevie Nicks circa 1972.
here’s my jewels///a collection that started as early as kindergarden

four left most pieces are from rock & mineral shows, big Geode (d. blue guy) is from my days living in Montana (k-2nd grade), pretty blue calcite (right front) is a gift from Susan found in Rhode Island, shells were found by me, as well as granite in back-found in New Hampshire.
coral-in back-found in Key West, geode pieces from rock and mineral show, amethyst from University of Alabama’s Geology dept. photo is my mom in 1980.
Friday was Susan’s wedding at the Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa, which turned out to be beautifully decorated in all the nautical artifacts you can imagine (the yacht club, not necessarily her wedding which was supposed to be outdoors-but unfortunately was rained out. . didn’t make a difference to me, i thought it was lovely) There was a great sunset, upbeat band, l/o/t/s of finger foods, shrimp & grits station, open premium bar, && familiar faces. We danced it up and then went to The Booth for a separate hoedown. Saturday we went out for breakfast and then hit up the lake with my mom and Gracie (the new pup). Tasted some of my brothers home brew and grilled out, thats about when dp and I passed out at 7 and didn’t wake till this morning at 8am our time. ha. i don’t consider it a wasted night as i probably needed the rest more than anything. obviously.
