a glamourous graduation celebration!

no1
my very good friend, Kristie Jo graduated back in May and i traveled to Bamaland to celebrate her “glamourous graduation celebration!”
no2
she is one crafty lady and i thought her entryway was just adorable! her duplex ((she has since moved)) was soooo awesome, this little side bathroom had an exterior sink, and there were many other quirky details we both loved!

no4
my present was a unicorn pinata filled with candy && glamours rings! also some other glam rings for the “specials” and a mask so she couldn’t peek when beating the hell out of poor Charlie ((what we named the little gal..))
no5
another entry way in her place, the hangings are actually part of a costume ((see below)) called a “Sound Suit” that she created for a class in which she also preformed in…after a couple of beers she put it on and gave every a show they’d never forget!
no6
she also made the pants out of about a 1,000 different patches, isn’t she amazing?!?!
no7
a gift she received from her cousin, glowing garden mushrooms-ah-jealous!

batterUP!
like any glamourous lady should, KJO changed about 3 times, and as always i loved each one! ((all vintage!!))

the cutest sparkly girly around! her asymmetrical hair is so unique, much like her style. love//

we each had on about 10 rings apiece! and none of them fit on our fingers, but who cares! these plastic party glasses are so cool, kristie found them at our favorite thrift store and they actually come apart and turn into HORNS! so you drink champagne, and then you can tootTOOT ((we think they are especially great for New Years Eve, that way when the clock strikes midnight you can ring in the new year!! such a steal!!))
no12
post-attack, still looking adorbs!

mom snapped these photos before the hair feel. i didn’t know what i was going to be wearing to the party so i just brought a couple different things and then planned when i arrived….well i didn’t have any other good//comfy shoes options so these had to work. got them years and years ago and haven’t worn since around then…don’t know why exactly, guess the color?? but i really do adore, they are fun. but yea, kinda just had to piece together what i could and this is what came about. i was happy with it. esp my hair! i 1/2 rolled 1/2 hand curled and it turned out so fluffy.

mom bought me these leggings for Christmas and this was the first time they got out, mostly because i’ve been afraid of the inner sequins getting rubbed off..and they are not lined so a little itchy BUT totally worth it…she found them at Steinmart, also a steal.

Feeling Free Spirited

So Saturday night was my friend Kristie Jo, Emily, and Amy’s Era Christmas Cocktail and my-0h-my was it splendid.  It was held in Northport at Emily’s adorable new house that was so cute I could barely control myself. My boyfriend and I went with the 60s, of course, and I’m pretty sure there wasn’t an era missed by any party people.   There was glorious amounts of food; vege bean dip, white bean chicken chili, corn chowder, green bean casserole, along with all the fixings. The gals even had balloons!!  Outside was a fire pit where I was parked next to for a good bit of the evening.
Here are my favorite photos from the night,

Beth Ann and I striking a pose in the lovely kitchen.

I just adore this cupcake tree, and the treats were delish!

I went home with the gray one

The Sagittarius Party Girlies

You can’t tell but his shirt is really retro with the collar and cut, we coordinated so well with the gold, green and red.
Love it.

Miranda wore 80s, as expected :))  It’s funny, all the girlfriends have their eras they tend to stick with.

Hands up, one of my favorite parties.
