Little Striped Dress

Since it seems I’ve come down with something and I don’t feel well, thinking allergy related, I’m going to keep this short. I’ve worn each of the following pieces sometime on the blog but here is a look I wore out to dinner Sunday night:

Like I mentioned, his is a larger version of this puzzle piece but we both wanted the same one as we think of each other as the other’s fitting piece.  I’m so in love with this little tat, healed so quickly and looks great!

12961303384_eced1594fc_bI’m wearing a cape I got from a friend, Loft dress, Nine West shoes, Madewell socks and TOM sunnies.

Even though I’m not feeling well I’ve got a fun weekend to look forward to and supposedly Georgia is going to be sunny and WARM! Enjoy the rest of your work week, Flashy.

Leslie Tessler is a designer who’s put a spin on a classic piece and made modern, wearable cape jackets. She is based between Buenos Aires and New York and is paying us a visit this weekend in Atlanta! She’ll be showcasing her new cape designs at a private trunk show and I’m so excited to attend! Wanted to share some of her collection with you here on the blog and if you live in (or around) Atlanta and would like to attend, please let me know!

“I have been collecting and wearing vintage capes for as long as I can remember. I searched the globe for updated versions and could never find any with as much character as my vintage pieces. So I created this line of women’s capes for clients who are looking for a modern twist on a timeless classic.” -Leslie Tessler

CAPES
Aren’t these darling??!
Can’t wait to see them in person. I currently own a cape jacket that a friend gave me in March, posted about it here. I’d love to add another piece to my wardrobe as they are very practical jackets. You can throw it over many layers and still be able to move around. I’ll definitely document this weekend, don’t you worry! Check out more of her designs on her site, www.leslietessler.com

here it is, the aforementioned CAPE! been wearing this guy as much as possible before Georgia does the usual skipping of Spring and moves directly into blazing heat. haven’t worn it with anything but skinny jeans as of yet but need to quickly experiment before it’s packed away.
