inspiration: Vanessa Jackman style

since i haven’t had readily available internet in quite some time i must be picky with the sites i visit when i actually am connected to the web world. one photographer’s blog i always peruse is Venessa Jackman‘s inspiration packed website. here are some Fall/Winter styles that attracted me-whether it’s how these ladies paired different colors or mixed textures, they are -done up real good!

dinner and a photoshoot

few weeks back my girlyfriend Tara aka Taradactyl of Sorry, Darlin asked me to shoot some photos of her for the Halloween mixtape meanwhile — we were both invited to a dinner shindig so we put two and two together and made MAGIC! 
Elizabeth hosted at her new apartment & cooked a fantastic vegetarian meal.

this is a casual version of a similar outfit worn last week. toned it down from a lace skirt to leggings and threw on the leopard ear muff i recently bought. i could probably live in a few versions of this very outfit-super comfy

in case you’re wondering, the Yelp event on Sunday was a really good time! picked up another leopard article of clothing to add to the wardrobe via Fearless Weirdos, sexy and leopard-win! post-sample sale we went to see my friend’s bro in Reptar opening for Phantogram, what a badass show!

We’ll have a bevy of wonderful drinks, local eats, and DJ Dibiase will be back spinning to get you dancing! though personally i have only shopped at The Beehive i’m excited to check out the other stores, brands, artists, as well as the sips + snacks! not to mention i’m all about Sunday Funday!

if you are not familiar with Yelp, you should meet and be very good friends. the site is a great way to research restaurants, salons, stores, hotels, nightlife, art and so much more. it really helped me when i first moved to Atlanta and still find myself referring to it weekly.

Fall Uniform

don’t know about you but this time of year im living in a dress, boots, tights and a few accessories including a leather bag of sorts. picked up a new belt at the showroom and have been obsessed, here i’ve paired it with a vintage Liz Claiborne dress:
